What Is 10BASE-T1L Single Pair Ethernet?
As opposed to standard ethernet, with either two or four twisted pairs, single pair ethernet uses two copper wires.

The single, twisted-pair cable carries power to enable the powering of remote sensors and actuators and also both transmits and receives data.

The thinner cable diameter offers less weight which translates to easier mobility, less space, faster installation, and lower costs.
