This light is designed to be minimal, compact, and unobtrusive, while still providing customisable mood lighting at the click of a button. The square-shaped case is printed using a high-quality plastic filament, 3d printed to allow the LED light to diffuse and create a soft ambient glow.
The maker, Dadantech, has made the complete wiring diagram alongside the files for the 3d printed case and a comprehensive guide to putting this fun kit together all available online. Powered by a 5v USB charger and programmed using the ever-popular STM32 Nucleo development board, this device is easy to find a space for and fun to assemble. To make the circuit as simple as possible, the RGB LED light is controlled using only three pulse width modulation pins.
Once assembled, you can control the functions of the light with a simple tap on its surface using the four base mounted buttons. Change colours by clicking one of the corners, turn the light on or off using the sides, and relax.
