It’s all well and good having sound modules to rave about, with elaborate sonic processing to impress your ears, but what about those functional modules which do the job and go largely unnoticed? Well this Cosmic Instruments 4x Attenuator – Fully Assembled is a utility module which does just that – it’ll process and output four incoming signals for numerous audio and CV applications!
This attenuator comes fully assembled with a geometrically decorated aluminum panel – taking up 10HP (50.5mm) of space in your setup. It has inputs and outputs for each signal and a knob which will increase or decrease the output – applicable to audio as well as CV (control voltages) – and working well as a simple track mute. It not only does the job for four channels, it also looks the part, and will sit comfortably alongside your most prized modules! It has a depth of 30mm and a height of 3U – so is well suited for a wide range of Eurorack setups.
