For those who own MPCs (or MPDs for that matter!) beatmaking is a way of life – a time to escape the outside world and get absorbed in chopping samples and laying down some big beats. Well, if you have an Akai MPD this Replacement Knob Akai MPD (Pack of 4) is a nice way to embellish your beatmaking with a set of four colorful knobs – to liven up it’s look, match up with your audio workstation or replace any which have been lost or broken.
They’ve been 3D printed using hard plastic PLA, and were originally designed to match with the Ableton Live color scheme in order to help MPD beat making flow more easily. Replacing your existing knobs shouldn’t be too much of a problem, just a carefull pull on the originals and then press your new colorful caps in their place! Choose from a mix of colors or use the drop down menu to pick the exact combination you need.
