It seems that building a unique and wonderful clock is something of a hacking rite-of-passage. Admittedly, however, some are more about style than functionality. Additionally, the device can be used in a countdown mode, or with buttons that start and stop the clock to determine how long you’ve been doing an activity.

Applications for such a device include gyms, keeping track of speech times, athletic competitions, and the like. It could certainly be employed to help judge soldering competitions, or to let people know just how long you’ve been working on a certain issue. It features a wide array of connection options, and several clocks can even be synchronized, meaning all kinds of uses for your implementation.
